Very good, is well written like the others books, but isn't the best of the series. Too many duels for my taste; the author does his best to make every duel interesting but for me they're too many.
The other doubt about the novel is about the fact that Ghosthound appears too emotionally detached from the fate of the inhabitants of his village and this isn't coherent with his personality.

I hesitated writing this review. First off if you are looking to buy you need to understand that this author is popular. If you read all the high reviews they mention that they like the author but can't list anything in the actual writing that is worthy of five stars.

This book is a 1.5/10. Here is why.

This book is a web story. It has no promise at the beginning, cohesive narrative, identity, or flow.

It has no character development. It is written by committee. People say they like vampires, candy, and clouds so for three chapters there are candy eating vampires that use cloud magic. Love interests are randomly added for no other reason than someone comments that they like a love interest in the story. It doesn't work

If you want to purchase this book, do yourself a favor and download the sample. The first 15-20% of this book is the worst writing i have ever tried to read in thousands of hours and ten of thousands of books. You can tell that much of this book is a rewrite of what the author wrote in his web story. I have a theory of why the author left the first 15% of the book so poorly written. What it does is trick the reader into thinking that the book gets better. By intentionally having the first part so poorly written, the reader has an artificially created experience of: the book got better. That is a scumbag move on the reader.

This book is a web story. What that means is that it doesn't have any of the standard pieces that make up a novel. It has no beginning, middle, and end. It has no character development. It doesn't have a cohesive narrative. What that means is the focus of this writing is to have daily/weekly updates to a blog post that makes people want to come back. This story changes its DNA every three chapters. Every three chapters the Author rewrites how the world works. There is no continuity. First stats matter, then skill levels matter, then rarity of skills, then battle intent, then nothing matters except your imagination (i kid you not, the author goes lost boys of peter pan and says that the only power that matters what you can imagine).

This story changes its make up ever 3-5 chapters. As a web story this can work. As a novel on amazon this is just plain terrible. It seems every 3-5 chapters the Author will go and copy a story idea from another popular story on RR, put it into their story without any understanding of how that idea will work in their over all story, then rinse and repeat.

This starts out as LITRPG, then quickly goes to cultivation (Again the author copies cultivation ideas from other popular stories without understanding what cultivation is and how it works, so it is just jammed into his story with no explanation), rinse and repeat when necessary.

I personally like cultivation stories, however it is frustrating as a reader when you suddenly start going down a cultivation lane (like with just 50 stamina the character no longer needs any sleep, duels and battles goes until a character looses consciousness from damage but then heals, battle intent becomes stronger than any skill and stat, ect, ect) without any explanation or flow of the over all story.

The reader can tell that this was written day by day with no idea of the over all arc of the story. There are universe size plot holes and every situation is covered by plot armor. The MC has higher stats, well now stats don't matter. The MC has lots of skills, now skills don't matter just the level of your highest skill. The MC has high level skills, now skills don't matter and only the rarity of skills matter. The MC has many rare skill, now rarity doesn't matter and now only the common battle intent skill is more powerful than anything else in existence.

Again when you go on RR you know what you are getting. There is a tacit agreement there. This in no way, shape, or form works as a novel. The Author has just control C, control V onto amazon with no proof reading or editing. There are more mistakes in this book than any other i have read on amazon and that is just grammar mistakes, that doesn't even take into account general sentence structure and basic writing.

If you are looking for a good well written story, buyer beware. Do yourself a favor and download a sample. If the sample is from the first 10 chapters you can easily see how poorly this is written. If you see the stars on this book, please know that it is indeed popular, but that doesn't mean that it is good. In fact after the end of the book you will see a cabal that the Author is part of that forces other authors to send their fans to his work, so as to falsely boost his rating, and in return he gives their work a mention after his book ends.

Great read. It is pleasing to see how randidly evolves in this spear wielding world. The way he grows, the power be acquires are promises of more great books to read in the future. In the meantime, book 3 is a must. I am gonna have to wait for may 2023 now.

So many revelations at the end there. Really curious as to what might possibly happen in the next book. The death was absolutely devastating. He might have been my favourite character. I hope there's another version of him in the next book

Like I said in the title I can't stand the name of this main character but the books are strangely compelling to read. The struggles and the relationships between the characters are real and meaningful. And you come to find that you care about all of them. So despite the horrible main character name, check this book series out. It's actually worth your time.

Randidly keeps overcoming no matter how the deck is stacked against him. Meanwhile, his mentor has issues of his own to work through. Of course this means that the powers that be take an unfriendly interest in our hero. Lots of fighting, lots of interpersonal drama in an isekai environment. Some of the supporting characters become betrayers and others stand in the gap at the cost of their lives. Despite this all, Randidly still doesnt seem interested in getting a girlfriend although there are some good candidates around him, yet he remains oblivious. Thats sad, because even Claptrap seized his opportunities to get friskey. Randidly keeps getting more powerful, but he's gotta take multiple daily beat downs if not by Shal, then by Azriel. Would hope that our hero gets some carrots to balance out the sticks he keeps getting beat with. Now, he's on the lam and doesnt even know how to get back to earth. Time for some good news before he's gotta return to the belly of the beast.

Aemont’s whole life was unbearably sad. He loved so deeply and the machinations of a pompous family destroyed everything that tied him to sanity. Honestly, Tellus, as a whole, sort of deserves everything that they’ve reaped.

What insights did Randidly obtain in that final battle? Will he be able to help Earth and their linked world from experiencing a Calamity? Or is that inevitable?

What will the consequences of his interactions with Lucretia be for Randidly, long term? How will his soulskill continue to evolve? And will the Creature continue to interfere? Will Randidly be able to, or willing to, reach all of the tiers of having Ash as his Patron?
