Not as good as the hype

I wanted to love these, but I can't. The arch support comes from the shoe being too slim in the mid foot area. They heel support is nice but the balls of my feet kill me in these shoes. I've never needed wide shoes, but with these the normal is excruciatingly painful on my average feet. I've worn them for 3 weeks now and they have only become slightly more comfortable. They started squeaking the other day and I have tried talcum powder, to no avail. I keep hoping they will magically feel good, but my hopes are not coming to fruition.

Bad Support on left shoe

I purchased these because I love Clarks shoes, but my left foot feels like I am walking on its side unlike the right foot. I can no longer return these now. I wish i had worn them immediately when I first got them. Now I can't wear them at all since I will just through my body off whack walking in this manner. I would like to get a replacement if possible.

The shoes are as pictured. I wear a firm 10.5 and had to order an 11 since there are no half sizes as they get bigger. Because of that, they are too long, but because of how tight it is on the top of my foot, I don't know that a 10 would be comfortable. I also have plantar faccitis and I manage the foot pain with HOKA shoes. Within a couple of hours (not even on my feet the entire time) my feet were in PAIN like they haven't been for awhile! I wish I could return them.

I’ve ordered these same shoes many times, this time they were different much stiffer and even had different buttons on the side ,they are also smaller in the toe, all my other 4 pairs are exactly the same ,I usually just put them on and go off to work,Im on my feet all day so I hoped I could just put them on like all the others, i couldn’t even keep on for a few hours

Clarks quality has fallen

I have purchased Clarks for years. Twenty years ago they were quality shoes with great fit. I have noticed the quality has fallen a bit over the years, but overall still liked the shoes. This latest pair however is too big, though it says it is the size I have always worn. And of course I threw away the box and packing after initially checking the size, so I cannot return them. I should not have to figure out my size by trial and error, each time I buy a pair of Clarks. Sizing inconsistency is a quality issue I cannot overlook. Time to look for another shoe company.

The arch support in these shoes is incredible, which is what I think of when I think of Clarks. However, the tops of the shoes actually hurt my feet after wearing for a while. I actually don't think they're the same Clarks I tried on in a store--an "internet" version maybe? When I tried these on in the store, they were some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on, however, ordered them here because the store didn't have my size and I was leaving on a trip. I had them delivered to my location and was very disappointed that I couldn't wear them, as I was doing a LOT of walking. What's even more disappointing is that I didn't see that I had to return them in a month--who requires that anymore?? They've been sitting in a box and I took too long to return apparently (didn't realize Zappo's has their own policy since I've ordered from them through Amazon before and have had great success with returns/exchanges). CHECK THE RETUN DATE IF YOU ORDER FROM ZAPPO'S!!!

I am very upset with this pair of shoes. Both left and right are 9.5W which is what I ordered. When I tried them on, I noticed they are not a correct pair. The front toe part is pointed slightly on the right foot and quite rounded on the left foot. I think they were mixed up with another pair. I definitely need to keep them to wear to a wedding I am attending in Colorado. They will not so different to others to notice, but I have no other shoes to take instead of these. I will be wearing them once at the wedding and then plan to return them for a better matching pair. I am 80 yrs old and will not be cutting a rug or doing anything other than sitting and watching the others in attendance. Please understand that I need to keep these because I am leaving for the airport at 7:30am on Sunday and unable to return and wait for another pair. I will not be returning home for 2 weeks and will return them then. Thank you for your understanding. Joyce Bashour
