I don't normally complain on the internet; I'm not a Karen. But here goes. Extremely cold weather is coming up, so I am preparing for the worst. Came across this product which looks really promising: made with wool and dual layers. Received them today, I immediately tried them on with so much hope that my bottom won't freeze off another day! I was wrong, really wrong. And no, the problem is not these leggings aren't warm; they're actually pretty decently warm. HOWEVER, while these leggings fit my waist perfectly, as some reviewers suggested, they're as baggy as MC Hammer's pants around my legs. I am planning on wearing them tucked under my jeans, not dance along to "U Can't Touch This" in the snow. Furthermore, the stitches down there are terribly irritating, like being stabbed by tiny needles. I'm a sensitive person, but not that sensitive. It feels like the leggings are made of steel wool, not sheep wool.
This is the worst product I have ever purchased, from Amazon or any other seller. When ordering, I checked the 'sizing' and wow is it off! When I got this product it looked like a large pair of insulated long johns and hung like a loose bag on me nothing like the picture implies. The waist band looked like men's underwear and the crotch would have come to my knees. As a female there is no way I could or would want to wear this garbage in public. Maybe with a mid thigh night shirt it would work for bedtime, but that's all, and it's an expensive piece of cheap and crummy bed wear at that.
I had bought the quest, fit perfectly and they are great for normal wear but not quite warm enough when I ride my motorcycle, so I ordered these because they are supposed to be warmer. They are a little short, but the biggest problem is one leg is about an inch and a half shorter than the other.
This is a lightweight base layer for someone who might be going camping, skiing or snowshoeing although ski pants have developed to such a degree that it wouldn't be necessary. NOT a legging for wear on its own.
The crotch of these are way too low. They hang and are not warm WHATSOEVER! The material is more like a thin t-shirt. Not worth buying if you live where it's really cold. I live in GA and purchased these for motorcycle riding in colder temps and this doesn't work AT ALL...no matter how much layering I add, it's like wearing nothing.
