It was a very quick read! It took me just two days, for someone as slow as I am, it is basically a miracle!
This Novella has been written in the 2015, like her first book, so it is pretty clear it still didn't have a really mature stile, but you can see there are the bases for what her stile as a writer has become!
You can feel by this story and how it is written how muchę she has always loved Nick and Charlie, even before writing about them in Heartstopper. This story is set two years after what we see in Heartstopper. Nick and Charlie are a well established couple at this point, but obviously when you mix Charlie's Mental Health and Life, things can go downtown pretty quickly! I really enjoyed this read, even if it is pretty far from the deepness of Alice's more recent work!
In the book you can also find a few very lovely illustrations, that makes the read even more enjoyable!
That's surely not the best story I've ever read in my life, but it deserves to be read and loved!
