I love these "this is Trojan..." Series of CDs.
This one features the forerunner of Reggae music, namely Ska.
It is very difficult not to tap your feet whilst listening to the music on this disc.
The bass walks along and the vocals are bright and cheerful.
Many of the tracks were recorded over half a century ago and so some of the recordings are a little distorted compared to modern recordings.
When the people of the Caribbean migrated to the UK in the 1950s and 1960s, they brought their music with them and I am glad they did.
Each one in this series is great in its own right but as a series, they are superb.
