This book is an informal, friendly baking book. There are fancy decorated cakes and decorated cookies, as well as simple recipes like cherry pie. Salted caramel is represented in both Salted Caramel Apple Pie, as well Salted Caramel Truffles. The Raspberry Ripple Choux Buns sound delicious, as does the Orange & Chocolate 50th Anniversary Cake. It looks like it will a fun book to bake my way through.

Nice fancy book, but disappointing how little real content. The cakes are fine, but It would help to have more general tips and techniques.
