I needed a replacement leather band for my Timex Indiglo. This band has met and exceeded expectations. What I especially liked was the quick release mechanism on the pins. Not sure how long this innovation has been around but wow, I really appreciated the ease of installation. No tool is necessary when using this type of release. I did need a jeweler's screwdriver to remove the old pins. Just be careful to order the correct band width by measuring your watch.

My only "con" was the band is initially quite stiff which meant I had to really bend the end to get it through the keeper. I was hesitant at first but realize, it isn't a problem and the band will loosen after a couple of wearings.

Fit my Omega planet ocean 43mm bezel without issue. Leather strap itself is very nice and the stitching is spot on. We shall see how it holds up, but Im very impressed by the feel and look of the leather thus far.

Only 2 minor complaints I have are the quick connectors needs to be black, I can see the silver arm through the gap when wearing the watch. Second, the pins are not as solid/thick as my original omega strap. I tugged a bit on them and they didnt bend outright, but not sure I'd trust my life with them. Granted this band was 10% the cost of the original band, so all things considered I'd recommend this strap to any of my friend looking for a replacement or 2nd strap. Definitely some of the best quality leather I've seen from an aftermarket strap in a long time.

Thickness of the leather can be a problem

The Ritchie Quick Release watch band is a quality product with an easy system to attach it to the watch case. However, as I found out, the thickness of the leather can make it impossible to attach to some watch faces. I bought this to replace an old band on a Timex Expedition watch. However, I was unable to get the spring-loaded pins to stay in place. It would link, but pop out as soon as I laid the watch flat. I was able to use it on another Timex Expedition watch that was designed such that the area to attach the pins was more open and less overlapped by the case design. This is just a watch-out for prospective buyers. That said, it is a nicely made product with clean stitching and even coloring.

Soft leather, easily swaps for the quick release band type watches.

Overall a great, and cost effective, watch strap. The leather is soft to the touch, but a little firm out of the packaging. I had to spend a few minutes curving/bending it to make it easier to clasp on my wrist. The pin for fastening around your wrist is just a little too long, making it just a little difficult to get it into the notch. The notches are also spaced differently than most bands that come with your watch, so it fits a little differently than the manufacturer band that came with my watch. Not a deal breaker for me though since I got this band to be used outside of activity situations, and more for casual settings like visiting friends/family or going out for a meal. Arrived as expected and looks as it does in the pictures.

This band is very comfortable and well-suited for use in a variety of watch styles. It has a smooth look, but it is to be noted that it is susceptible to scratch marks (while it does not appear to damage the band, it may change the look; depending on the person, it could add charm or me a distraction), but I would not let that deter anyone from buying, as it is typical. The quick-release pins allow for easy change-out, without tooling needed. It have a subtle, classic look, and I would definitely recommend.

Nice Band, but the quick release pins were not a tight enough fit

I was looking for an 18mm band long enough to fit my wrist and this one fits that bill. O like the look anf feel and the band itself seems very well made. The quick release pins did not lock in tightly and using them the band became easily detached. I replaced them with the pins from the original (too short) band that came with the watch and have no problems. I definitely ordered the correct size. The pins didn't seem to spring to the extended position like they should, but even when I forced them all the way to full length they still barely engaged the watch case. I went with 4 stars because I really love the band itself.
