Welcome to the Rabbit Hole. On our fifth excursion into the warren of the odd, 37 authors lead us down their own little burrows of strangeness: an army of penguins, music that cures, aliens that communicate through old cartoons, images of the future that save, unwanted visions of the now, and, oh yes, it is raining lawyers. All have one thing in common, they are just…plain…weird.
Weird can be funny, weird can be sad, weird can be thoughtful, weird can be mad, but the one thing in common is that weird shares experiences you have, thankfully, never had.
Just be careful, all little bunnies are not nice, but they are memorable.
Stories by: Pete Barnstrom, Lori M. Myers, Richard Zaric, James Rumpel, Rhonda Eikamp, Joseph Carrabis, Leslie Muzingo, H. Donovan Lyón, GD Deckard, Lesley Bungay, S.E. Reed, Alexis Cunningham, Taija Morgan, Matt Nagin, Carl E. Reed, Stefan Markos, Anna Ross, Jon Zelazny, Marie Anderson and Tom Chmura, Richard Hough, Joseph Farley, D. A. Becher, David M. Donachie, Sally Basmajian, Bobby Rollins, Anthony Regolino, Robin Pond, Christina Hoag, John Haas, Joshua Williams, Jodi Rizzotto, Louis Evans, David Castlewitz, Tom Howard, Ira Nayman, and Tom Wolosz.

Three months back there was a suicide bomb in Tunisia, a prison riot in Colombia, and Australia was on fire. Italy fought a losing battle with an insidious virus, which went on to engulf the planet in a worldwide pandemic. The first world shut down. Then we watched a public execution, by a so-called peace-keeper. Then the rioting and looting began—and you know what came next, because you’re living it. The world in 2020 isn’t what it once was. The west is on fire with revolution and unrest. Violent crime and lawlessness are on the rise. Which is good news if crime is your business. And whether the world bounces back or burns down to ashes, there will always be storytelling. For Switchblade, storytelling is our business, and business is good. This is the twelfth issue of the world’s only no-limit noir digest magazine. Featuring 13 reality-check, hard luck tales of the human condition, before and after Covid-19.

Every one likes a good cheap thrill, but if you enjoy quality schadenfreude you'll love the tightly wound tales found between the covers of ECR number four. Number Four: The elemental number: Earth-wind-fire-books...I mean air. Four is the tetrad...the perfect number...a number for all mankind. These stories pulse with realism as they swing wildly between genres and bring you the joy in other people’s pain. The one, the only Rex Weiner kicks things off with a fantastic peek into realistic crime and punishment; and the one, the only, A.B. Patterson closes the show with the most transgressive thing I've read outside a public lavatory. Everyone in between brings vivid, pulse pumping action and suspense mixed nicely with severe moments of WTH. ECR #4 proudly features the authors: Mark Slade, Jon Zelazny, Robert Petyo, Hailey Piper, Matthew X. Gomez, Mark Slade, J.L. Boekenstein, Hatebreaker, J.S. Rogers, and C.W. Blackwell. Buy this book--lock the door with a chair—and get down with the fourth Issue of EconoClash Review.

Switchblade is going south—way down south, like a thong bikini in the Daytona Beach heat, where there’s no escaping the humidity. Half of these fifteen tales of vice and suspense take place in the sunshine state, the other half are the same potency of beloved filthy noir, from someplace else. Cult leaders, serial killers, private eyes, rock stars, cigarette boats, bare knuckle fighters, alligators, fugitives, strip clubs, mobsters, and government spooks; add in some stepped on lines of dirty white powder, and you’ve got Switchblade Issue Seven. Featuring the criminal minds of Nick Kolakowski, J.L. Boekestein, William R. Soldan, Mark Slade, Jack Bates, Stephen D. Rogers, Jon Zelazny, C.W. Balckwell, Arthur Evans, Bill Davidson, R. Daniel Lester, Bryce Wilson, Mathew X. Gomez, Scott Hallam, David Rachels, and Michael R. Colangelo.

Literary e-clectic: The Record (English Edition)
15-mag-2017
2,99 €
The Literary e-clectic is a quarterly magazine that every issue is the same, only different. Each quarter has a different theme that the stories adhere.
Pamela Jeffs' Chili Juice explores post-partum depression in a super hero mom.
Jon Zelazny's Constant Mayhem is a fictional account of Kit Lambert, the producer of the band, The Who, as he works on the band's next concept album.
Veronica Brush's The 20th Mission is a sci-fi tale that recounts the story of regrets and second chances.
In Adam J. Williams’ The King of Second Place is an Olympic athlete's story as he battles on the track and, once his career is over, in the boxing ring for a charity event.
At the Literary e-clectic, we don’t care if the stories are fiction or non-fiction or what type of genre that they may fall into. What we care about is having good stories.
