About Contributors Jeff Bezos and Walter Isaacson:
This book is a collection of writings and public statements by Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon. Bezos is also the founder of aerospace company Blue Origin, which is working to lower the cost and increase the safety of spaceflight, and he is owner of the Washington Post. In 2018, he founded the Bezos Day One Fund, which focuses on funding non-profits that help homeless families, and on creating a network of tier-one preschools in low-income communities. Bezos graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University in 1986, and was named TIME Magazine's Person of the Year in 1999.

Walter Isaacson is the author of several books, including The Innovators and Leonardo da Vinci.

Lo considero un buon libro, utile se si vuole avere un'idea di come funziona Amazon. L'ho comprato per curiosità, ci sono sicuramente libri più interessanti ma se si vuole farsi un'idea sul settore consiglio l'acquisto.

Libro che raccoglie delle interviste fatte a Jeff Bezos e delle lettere scritte da Bezos stesso, con una prefazione sulla sua vita, lo consiglio vivamente in quanto può dare qualche spunto per cambiare la vostra visione e percezione delle cose, senza seguire i pattern "convenzionali".

Ovviamente compratelo solo se avete una buona padronanza della lingua inglese dato che è in Inglese appunto

I thought that a book about such a dynamic high achiever would make for an interesting read. How wrong I was. If you've ever had the misfortune to have to read through a pile of unrelated memos, you'll understand instantly just what a chore it was to wade (part way) through this book. After spending what seemed like eternity ploughing through the first chapter, I alighted at the second with a metaphorical spring in my literary step hoping that the book would pick up a bit. It didn't, so back on the shelf it went to wait for the next trip to the charity shop. (I hope they haven't read this review or they might refuse to take it and then I'll be stuck with it.)
