This is embarrassing, but I was using some herbal essence shampoo before this and had also tried other supermarket shampoos, but my hair would be greasy after a day or two, my scalp smelled FOUL and I was getting tiny pus filled spots all over my scalp too. The doctor didn’t know what it was and prescribed steroid lotion! But before trying that I thought I’d give this shampoo a go as it contains a natural anti-microbial (tea tree) and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals. Well, I’m so, so glad I did. My scalp cleared within a day or two, no more awful smell, and I can go about 4-5 days now before my hair looks or feels greasy.
The shampoo itself reminds me of a ‘detox’ shampoo as you can really feel your hair is dry as soon as you wash it off.. the conditioner is between a runny and thick consistency.. I’d say it ‘softens’ rather that deeply moisturises. But that’s ok, it’s because it isn’t full of silicones. It makes hair soft, and really clean feeling. And the smell.. oh my gosh ..it isn’t like the essential oil tea tree you can buy in those little bottles, you can smell there’s tea tree in it, but it has this deep, beautiful herbal smell which lasts on hair for a day or so after washing. I really love the smell! And the fact it has cured my scalp problems!

UPDATE:
After using this for a few weeks my hair went so dry and unmanageable. It looked like serious heat damage. (For reference, my hair is very long and not coloured, I don’t use any heat so it’s usually beautiful condition). When I switched back to a supermarket shampoo (Dove) I realised it was this shampoo that was causing my hair to look destroyed. I also found out that the spots in my hair and awful smell was due to a Jason shampoo I’d been using (the sea kelp one). So unfortunately I cannot recommend this brand. Didn’t work for me, although others seem to love it.. so maybe it’s just me?!

I was given some Faith in Natire stuff at Christmas and loved it and looked into more products and came across this tea tree set. I struggle with really itchy and sore scalp even right after washing and after trying this it totally cleared it away and it’s alk natural and vegan! I’ve already bought more products from this company, so good and worth the money!!

I simply love Faith in Nature products, not only do they do the job you want them too but also they are extremely good value for money and are as organic as is possible. They are very good value from Amazon as I can purchase both shampoo and conditioner as a matching pair which saves money or individually which is a little dearer. They have also have a range for men called Blue Cedar, which smells divine! As you will see from my other reviews I also like the Faith in Nature hard soap which I buy as a multi pack which saves a bit of cash.

This is a handy combo pack as I use both the tea tree shampoo (alternating with the aloe vera) and when required the tea tree conditioner.
At home I don't use any other brand of hair products. These have proven to be the best for my hair and scalp.

I really wanted to like this shampoo. While it was good for my scalp, it dried out my hair and made it tangle easily. I usually have very healthy hair so this was quite surprising. The conditioner was way more liquidy than I'd expect, seemed like it had been watered down.
