I can’t believe I just read a whole book about breathing, but I had found it super fascinating. My allergist prescribed me to read this to help reduce stress and everything else going on in my life right now and I’ll now be carving out time each day to practice my breathing.
I knew how important it is to have a good breathing habit by doing Yoga Kundalini via the meditation but I didn't realized the importance to breathe from the nose. I was a mouth breather all my life and complained to have issue to breath from my nose because I felt it partially blocked so I naturally tend to breath from my mouth. Since I started to breath from my nose regularly I feel I breathe better ! I really like all the scientific studies shared in this book. Amazing, I can relate to so many case studies in that book. It seems super simple and so straight forward but I had no idea there were scientifically proven ways to breath that could dramatically improve people's health. Seriously, do whatever you can to read/listen/absorb this book. I started by listening to the audiobook driving alone in the car. I was absolutely shocked and cringing through parts of the book. It's terrifying the bad things that happen if you breath out of your mouth. The author participates in a study where they plugged his nose for 10 days and measured the effects. It's frigging crazy. You must read this book.
