I read the first 2 books in the series a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed them but this one was out of my price range until today when it was reduced so I downloaded it and have been reading ever since. Someone is killing women who look similar and making their deaths look like accidents. Ok, the plot may stretch your credulity a little but it is gripping and I just had to keep reading to find out what was coming next. The characterisation is good with Pescoli's chaotic home life becoming a running gag but, at the same time, fleshing out her character and there are more hints that there is more to come about Alvarez's past. Bring on the next one.

Having previously read Chosen to Die and Left To Die by the same author this was a must read for me. It continues in Grizzly Falls with the established characters of Detectives Selena Alvarez and Reagan Pescoli, someone is killing off women who look remarkably similar, but who and why, the killer is escalting and bodies are turning faster.Dr Acacia Lambert is in his sights, but why are all these women connected? Well written, Lisa Jackson is up there with the likes of Tess Gerritsen and Harlan Coben, the characters are interesting and you care about them, can't wait for the next book to follow up on the detectives.

I am relatively new to Lisa Jackson but her books are excellent and I have been reading one after the other for weeks now. Her characters are believable and I like how you get to know them a little better in each book.Grizzly Falls has to be the most unlucky town on this planet but it doesn't put the reader off reading another book. I would definitely recommend others to give her books a go.

This is the 3rd in the 'To Die' series and another very good read that combines the problems and issues of being a single parent of teenagers with the pressure of a job as a detective. These books are psychological thrillers and this one has another very good storyline. I was a bit disappointed by the low profile of Selena and Regan in this book, hence the 4 stars, but still a very enjoyable read.
