But even if I have the horns of an Unseelie, I'm not welcome here, either. Queen Mab and her monstrous soldiers are delighted to torment us, accusing me of being a traitor. If we want to get out of the Court of Sorrows with our lives, the only hope we have is to stay as close to each other as possible--even if it means fleeing on horseback and sharing a bed. Every moment is bittersweet since it could be our last--and Torin is condemned to kill anyone he loves.

This book literally had everything I need from the Crawford’s.
Torin and Ava trapped in the land of Unseelie where his curse doesn’t affect him so he can touch her all he wants.
Enter Queen Mab and her strange way helping Ava become who she was truly meant to be all along.
We find out Ava’s heritage and it’s wild. Plus we do get a HEA.
Throughout the book we get Ava’s, Torin’s and Shalini’s POV’s as all was not left well in Faerie and if you’ve read Frost I’m sure you can guess who made the power play for the throne. They had it really rough while Torin and Ava fought hard to get back to them.
There’s so much adventure, steamy romance, slow burn moments and a few twists. I highly highly recommend this duology. Read Frost first. It’s so worth it.
We bother Christine and Nick so much they wrote a year later catch up with ever which you can get for free from then via email.

Without giving too much away, you think the characters have managed to get to safety then something else happens and more twists and turns keep happening.
It was written SO well, I loved every second and I’m so sad to be leaving this world, I wish I could read it again for the first time.
But now I can just re-read multiple times :3 <3 🥰😍
**Possible spoilers below**
The only thing I’m slightly sad about, is I don’t think we actually heard Torin and Ava say ‘I love you’ to each other. But they both know, through their actions, words and everything they’ve done for each other, they know 🥺☺️☺️
Thanks so much for such great story telling, I felt like I was along with them for the ride ( As scary as that was) :s :D

I still enjoyed Ava and Torin's chemistry and liked the overall plot, but the story became repetitive too much. I felt they were kept prisoners for too long and there was too much back and forth between them and the unseelie's.
I would have liked to have seen more from Orla and Morgant. They both have such potential for their own great stories.
I did really appreciate the author putting in a summary of Frost Book one at the beginning, I wish more authors did this, its such a big help when reading series.
